About Us
Assisting Hands Home Care is a franchise of home care agencies throughout the United States that specializes in providing customized, non-medical home health care services for senior citizens, adults with disabilities and expectant mothers. Our caregivers are highly trained, background-checked, licensed and bonded with our agency as they treat all clients with compassion and respect. Our home care services include assistance with a number of daily tasks, including light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, personal care tasks and more to ensure each client lives safely and comfortably at home.
The Owner
Wolfgang Willems spent 19 years working internationally in the automotive industry as a development engineer and product and people manager. In that time, Wolfgang got married and had four children, the first of which was born with a severe disability. He and his family went through many difficult years getting care for their disabled child and learned a lot about the medical care provided for people with disabilities in that time. Unfortunately, despite their strong love and dedication to providing care, their child passed away. The loss of his child caused Wolfgang to re-evaluate his life’s work and search for a new challenge that had true meaning.
Not long after Wolfgang decided to make a change, he came across Assisting Hands Home Care. He was drawn to Assisting Hands because of the family atmosphere and the prospect of providing care that can greatly improve the lives of employees and clients, including seniors and families who need care for loved ones with disabilities, much like his own. Wolfgang purchased the Assisting Hands franchise of Frisco, TX and looks forward to helping improve the lives of those who come to Assisting Hands seeking home care.
