Acting as a caregiver for a senior citizen or disabled adult or child is rewarding, but it is also a demanding job. Caregivers spend long hours providing care which can cause stress, burnout, and even detrimental effects to their health. It is important for caregivers to have the support they need to be able to provide effective care while also taking care of themselves.
Assisting Hands of Mansfield attended a community event on May 14, 2024, hosted by Starting Point at the Cleburne Community Center. The goal of the event was to connect and encourage caregivers of seniors and disabled adults and children and show them some much needed support. Connecting caregivers helps foster a supportive community in which they can share resources and provide encouragement.
Assisting Hands of Mansfield provides home care services in the Cleburne, TX area and we have served many with information, opportunities, and hope! We understand the challenges faced by families who care for their senior loved ones, and we provide support through our senior home care services. Our licensed caregivers provide comprehensive in-home care that includes help with activities of daily living (ADLs), and we offer respite care to give relief to family caregivers.
